Protect Your ChexSystems® Profile

ChexSystems verifies account information for financial institutions to help them identify applicants who may have a history of mishandling accounts (for example, people whose accounts were overdrawn and then closed by them or their bank).

Similar to a bankruptcy or charge off on your credit report, if your bank notifies ChexSystems of any incident with your bank accounts, that notation remains on your ChexSystems report for a full five years from the date the incident is reported.

To see if you've been reported to ChexSystems or to make sure there are no errors on your report, you can order a free report annually through ChexSystems Consumer Assistance website.

If you've found yourself a victim of the ChexSystems process, we may be able to help. Pulaski's Transition Banking account is ideal if you've had problems opening a checking account, need help paying off debt, or would like assistance saving for emergencies.
